Murff’s Claminator™ Stainless Steel Clam Shovels
For the clamming purest, we offer two classic versions of the Murff’s Claminator clam shovel. These babies are beautifully hand crafted from heavy gauge SAE 304 stainless steel. Our shovels are made to be used for years, if not decades. Truly, a family heirloom to pass down to the next generation. Perfect for digging razor clams and gapper clams!
WOOD HANDLE
Our wood handle with a stainless steel shovel is constructed of the finest materials. The ash wood handle is triple sealed at the point it is attached to the shovel, to keep water out and insure the longest lasting integrity of the handle. The handles are made in the USA of the finest ash wood available. The wood handles are double riveted to the stainless steel shovel with ¼ “ brass rivets which can be drilled out to allow of replacement of a broken handle, should that ever occur. The result is a beautiful marriage of the wood to stainless steel. A classic look and feel!
STAINLESS STEEL HANDLE
The Murff’s Claminator™ Stainless Clam Shovel features a stainless shovel blade welded to a stainless 1.5″ diameter handle. It is ideal for digging razor clams or even narrow trenches in dirt. The “all stainless steel” clam shovel is a sturdy welded, one piece shovel that does not have a wood handle to break or wear out, and is comfortable to use for “pounding” holes for the serious razor clam shovel digger.

We offer discounted ground shipping of our clam shovel products at the flat rate of $7.50 for customers located in WA and OR. All other states in the continental US (does not include Alaska or Hawaii) will be charged the discounted flat rate of $14.50. Please contact us to ask about expedited shipping options. PICKUP ORDERS
We do not have a retail location. All pickup orders are by appointment only and must be scheduled in advance with Dale Murff. Please contact Dale prior to purchasing at dale@theclaminator.com to coordinate a pickup time. Customers must also bring proof of purchase.

Warranty Overview
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we do not guarantee a full refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition as you received it. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Obvious signs of use or damage
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Clam Guns
Murff’s Claminator™ stainless steel clam guns are covered by our limited lifetime warranty which covers manufacture defects (i.e. broken welds).
The warranty does not cover damage from excessive abuse, including bent barrels or tubes. Rust is not covered under the warranty. Any damage, such as a deformed or bent barrel, can likely be reworked to allow better function but, depending on the extent of the damage, a fee may apply. Rubber gaskets are not covered under the warranty but replacement gaskets can be purchased.
Shovels
Murff’s Claminator™ stainless steel shovels are covered by our limited lifetime warranty which covers manufacture defects (i.e. broken welds). Bent blades or handles are considered to be excessive abuse and are not covered under the warranty. Rust is not covered under the warranty. Repairs may be available for a fee.

Broken handles are considered excessive abuse and a $40 fee will applied to replace a broken wood handle.
General Care Recommendations
Murff’s Claminator™ products are tools and should be treated with the care that any quality tool requires. These products are made to extremely high standards of quality. Taken care of, they should provide years (even generations) of use. Rinsing with fresh water after each use will reduce the chance of the stainless steel becoming rusted or pitted. The valve and vent tube should also be rinsed thoroughly with fresh water and should be free of sand or other debris before storing. Listen for the rattle of the valve bolt! Warranty and Repair Claims
Warranty or repair inquiries should be directed to U-Name-It Welding and Fabrication. Please do not contact or return your Murff’s Claminator™ product to the store where purchased.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, usually within 10 business days.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at dale@theclaminator.com and send your item to the address below.
